he Independence Park community has two parks which provide recreational and civic-related facilities to the neighborhood. Athletic Field Park has a playground, athletic fields, tennis and basketball courts, a ceramics building and meeting rooms. Independence Park has a large field house with indoor basketball courts, fitness center, swimming pool, auditorium and meeting rooms as well as outdoor facilities including a play ground, tennis courts, athletic fields and a water park for children.
